Roundup: Side Dishes!
The other day when we made our big announcement about the upcoming cookbook(!!!!), it was mentioned in the comments that ideas for side dishes were hard to come by. I thought a roundup of our favourite sides might spark a little creativity and throw around some ideas for those of us (myself included!) who are a little stumped by sides. There are definitely times when the sides really make the meal, such as at Thanksgiving, but on a typical Wednesday night sides aren’t usually the star. Here are some healthy side dishes from the SPC repertoire!
Sweet Potato Fries from Bad Things Gone Good Week are definitely one of my favourites sides.
I pretty much always have broccoli in my fridge, so this recipe for Roasted Broccoli is perfect.
I love the idea of using Sneaky Vegetable Pancakes as a side, something that’s a little different but so much fun.
I’ve already started seeing corn in the grocery store so this Sweet, Sweet, Sweet Corn Salad will be making an appearance at dinner very soon.
I just recently discovered my love for Rapini, so I will be making this recipe for “Terrible” Rapini this week.
