We feel like this week’s smoothies are just the warm up. Since we’re about to head into summer with its line-up of local, fresh berries, we’re revving our blender engines.We can’t wait to start hitting the local farms (or markets) to go berry picking. I’ve already vowed to pick twice as many strawberries and blueberries then I did last year to stash away in my freezer again. My husband vowed that he won’t accidentally leave the freezer door open before our Christmas vacation this time thus defrosting said summer stash. Sounds like a marriage made in heaven.
