We Love…Making our Valentine’s
It doesn’t have to be the shape of a heart. It needn’t be red, pink or anything in between. It could be chocolate but it definitely doesn’t have to be. It just needs to be made with love.
Here are some of our favorite Valentine’s Day meals, treats and snacks…..
Oat and Banana Pancakes – I’m not gonna lie. I’d love to wake up to a plate of these pancakes. To those it may concern, please take note.
Coconut French Toast – This recipe is one of our most pinned on Pinterest and there is a very good reason for that; it’s easy and yummy.
Easy Blueberry Baked French Toast – This is the mother load of baked French toasts. I make it all the time and people flip over it. It’s also a recipe that we’ve received a ton of readers’ feedback, all giving it rave reviews. The best part about it? You prep it the night before and just pop it in the oven in the morning. It doesn’t get easier than that!
New York-Style Black and White Cookies – When I posted these cookies on Twitter the famed food emporium in NYC, Dean and Deluca, whose B&W cookies I’ve been addicted to for years, wrote to compliment these beauties. In other words, they’re famous so what are you waiting for. I bet even Kanye wouldn’t have a problem with them.
Chewy Oatmeal Raisin Cookies – Not everyone needs chocolate on Valentine’s Day. Some people just need cookies and these are a classic with an SPC twist.
Chocolate Chip Cookie Bars – These pan cookies are gooey and delicious so don’t blame us if you finish the pan. Ok, you can blame Ceri. She created the recipe, not me.
Chocolate Cupcakes – They’re chocolate. They’re a cupcake. Do you need more convincing?
No-Bake Banana and Peanut Butter Lollipops – These are great for kids but I’ve never turned one down.
Gluten-Free Banana Chocolate Chip Cupcakes – You won’t even know these rich and moist cupcakes are gluten free.
Brownie Bites – They say it’s the little things in life that count. And by “little things” they mean chocolate.

Roundup: Avocados!
I’ve been on a really big avocado kick recently. To me, avocados are just perfect for summer. Throwing them in a salad, mashing them up into a dip or just
