Meal Plan March 14, 2016

We’re bringing back the weekly meal plan! The crunch of getting our manuscript in to the publisher meant we had to hit pause but we’re back. And we’re trying a new format. Here’s what is new: we’re still including the slide show of the week’s meals but we’ve also listed them below. Under that you’ll find a printable grocery list. Each recipe gets its own list in case you’re not making everything in this week’s plan – you’ll just be able to see a grocery list for what you like. What do you think? This is all for you, so let us know what’s most useful to you, okay?

This week it feels like spring is just around the corner. I know, I may be tempting fate just thinking it, let alone writing it! But we haven’t had to insist on snow pants in a couple of weeks and that’s reason to celebrate. It’s also reason to lighten up our meal plan a bit. This week, I’m feeling fish, I’m feeling ground turkey and, as always, I’m feeling eggs. We’re going to start off the week with one of my new favourites, a roasted cod dish that feels just a bit fancy but is so easy. Then we’re going to hit Tuesday with an all-time fave, the Turkey & Broccoli pasta that will change your life (no exaggeration). Get over the mid-week hump with Turkey Lettuce Wraps (or you could use tortillas if you want). But out the eggs for a light and lovely frittata. Then give yourself a round of applause for making grilled cheese rather than ordering pizza on Friday.

Okay, team, go!
