Burgers for the Holidays
As an American living in Canada, I get to celebrate two summer holidays–Canada Day and the 4th Fourth of July. And like Thanksgiving, the other holiday I get to double up on, it has everything to do with the food. Well, the food and fireworks.
You kind of can’t have a July celebration without hamburgers. I guess you could but I may feel a wee bit cheated if I’m invited. And you may think burgers only belong on the menu for the kids, you should reconsider when it comes to these babies. These hefty burgers have all the bite of a juicy beef version with the benefits of a lighter alternative. We’ve even got a meatless selection for you. So fire up the grill and get out the sparklers, it’s time to make some summer memories.
Chicken Chili Burger — A large spoonful of homemade guacamole makes this burger a definite crowd pleaser. Ok, make it two spoonfuls.
Black Bean Burger — Meatless never tasted so moist and delicious.
Mini Lamb Burger — This is an all-star, easy to make burger that will make guest’s swoon for your cooking. Better make a double batch.
Lemon Thyme Chicken Burger — This burger delivers big on flavour with its classic combination.
