Roundup: Back To School Lunches!
Can you believe that it’s already back to school time? I can’t, the summer flew by! I live in an area filled with schools (literally 6 within walking distance), so it’s always sweet at the beginning of the school year to see all the adorable little ones on their way to school. It’s not only the little guys going back to school this September (although they are the cutest) but high school students and even college/university students (myself included!), so I think everyone is on the hunt for healthy, back to school lunches. Here are five school lunch ideas to get you off to a good start. Best of luck to all Moms, Dads and kids this coming school year! As my high school motto said “Amor Doctrinae Floreat” (Let the love of learning flourish!)
Aren’t these Sandwich Sushi the cutest? They make a great special-first-week type of lunch.
Can we talk about Blueberry Spelt Muffin Cake Sandwiches for a second? Seriously, this might be the most delicious packed lunch in the world.
I love the Mini Quiches so much so that I would eat them for breakfast and lunch!
For whatever reason foods “on a stick” are something that kids love, why not put your Salad on a Stick to get your kids to enjoy their veggies!
And don’t miss Lisa as she talks Bento Boxes.

September 05, 11:13Isn’t it funny how preoccupied people get with their kids’ school lunches? I am so preoccupied by mine, that I photographed, as a little experiment, the before he eat it and after he ate it (did he eat it?) school lunches I packed for him.
The bento box style lunches are the best. It seems that kids, when they have it all in front of them like on a plate, they tend to eat most or all of it better, than when they have to open up 6 different containers.
