Lasagna Roll-Ups
You won’t be able to wipe the smile off your kids faces after this meal. I can’t believe I didn’t think to do this myself. What Italian would overlook the idea of turning lasagna on its head (or, quite literally, on its side)….to make it more fun for kids. Scarlett and I had a blast preparing this dish and it was so easy we may eat lasagna rolls for the rest of our days.
I luckily had just returned from my parent’s home with a jar of my Dad’s famous, homemade sauce. If you don’t have an old, Italian man at the ready with fresh sauce, use your favorite store brand.

January 04, 22:50I made this earlier in the week for my husband and I. Two rolls each with salad as the side. Beautiful meal, so easy to prepare. Leftovers tonight with a different salad. Last week the OMG Chicken Parmesan. Again, fab, easy. Thanks so much. We are seniors w/o kiddies now and sooo bored with our usual meals. Thanks for helping me change things up.

January 18, 19:15I made this tonight with my daughter and Gwenyth Paltrow’s Go to Sauce. It was so much fun making it with my 10 yr old girl and it turned out fantastic. I even used whole wheat pasta noodles and they were great. My son who is not a big eater gobbled up a few portions…..then of course promptly requested the Wagamama cookies for dessert. Yum!

January 20, 13:09Thanks so much for your note. I love making this dish with my daughter so I’m glad you had as much as we do. I also don’t blame him for craving the Wagamama cookie for dessert. I can eat that treat any time of day! Thank you so much for writing.
