Entertaining Week: Recipe roundup

Entertaining Week: Recipe roundup

The biggest weekend of the summer (in my book at least) is just around the corner. I’m not sure about you, but I intend to spend it with as much family and friends as humanly possible. Being an American living in Canada, I get two holidays out of the whole thing. In other words, it means twice the entertaining. Let me break that down even further for you: a lot of friggin people to feed.

Ceri and I have put a few of our favorite recipes together that may inspire you for your holiday weekend. You’ll find some great side dishes, a healthy salad meal, an easy main course and, of course, dessert. I had to give you two dessert ideas because I couldn’t decide between the two. Maybe it’s because I’m feeling hungry as I write this post. (Note to self: Food blogging is like grocery shopping–Never do it on an empty stomach.) We hope these recipes make your holiday entertaing a bit easier…..

Salmon Salad is a hearty and delicious meal that comes together quickly and looks impressive when serving.

Chocolate Pudding is a total comfort dessert that everyone loves.

Grilled Pork Chops with Apples and Goat Cheese are goof-proof and so fast you’ll have more time to socialize.

Berry Crostata just looks (and tastes) so damn good.
