Roundup: Seafood Week

Roundup: Seafood Week

I love compiling these Roundup posts  because they require  me to read old posts (if you can call a year ago old). Depending on my mood, I either a) cry at how tiny Scarlett can look in some of them and wonder how she’s gotten so big or b) am appauled by my typos or c) kick myself for forgetting the recipe. See, we healthy food bloggers forget to make our own recipes. Just like every parent on the dinner treadmill, things fall out of our head. So thank goodness we have each other.  Here are some of our favorite seafood posts:

Grilled Shrimp Salad is another salad as a meal that will turn kids on to the protein packed shrimp.

Salmon Salad for this great meal look for Alaskian Salmon since it has the lowest levels of environmental contaminants then let the good times roll.

Homemade Fish Sticks are an easy supper that most kids love. We used tilapia but haddock is great too.

Tilapia Tacos are a light alternative to chicken or beef when it comes to your family’s Mexican night.

Parmesan Tilapia is a dish we’ve had a few SPC readers write to tell us they’re addicted to it! You know who you are and we love you. Try it yourself (it’s as easy as pie!) and let us know if it’s your latest addiction.
