I’m not sure if this happens to you but when Scarlett needs a nibble I always offer fruit. However, she can get bored of a plain, old banana. “No, thanks mommy, I don’t want another banana,” she’ll say. Oh, yea. That’s right you had one at breakfast. It’s why I like to have snacks around that use fresh fruit but aren’t the same old, same old. So before we put snack week to bed (don’t worry we’ll have another), we’ve put together a list of nutrient dense fruits as well as recipes using fresh varieties of each. Maybe it will inspire you to bake this weekend? Or not. You can’t blame us for trying.
