Sweet Stuff: William Sonoma Cupcake Carrier

Sweet Stuff: William Sonoma Cupcake Carrier

Every holiday season Scarlett and I bake for her teachers. We have fun hunting through magazines and online finding the perfect recipe. We usually also put our own fingerprint on the recipe. (Did someone say add chocolate chips? Good idea!) Then we spend one morning making cookies and putting them in the fanciest gift packs we can find. We usually also throw in a gift card to somewhere we know the teacher frequents, but I like to think that the best part of the gift for them is the cookies. Maybe that’s just me. I don’t turn down a cookie. Ever. However, this year, I’m considering making cupcakes, especially after finding these adorable little carriers. Although cupcakes drive me crazy. There’s something about all that frosting that makes me cringe–I might as well just go eat a stick of butter. I may have to break down and whip up some red velvet cupcakes (my favorite) just so I can stuff them in these cute gingerbread house boxes. They fit one cupcake and it comes with its own ribbon and card. I can also easily slip a gift card in there too. $7.50 each at William Sonoma.
