Roundup: Dinner Salads
I don’t need for the temperature to rise to love dinner salads. It’s my preference most nights. As summer finally arrives and local produce is at its best I can get the rest of my family make salads into meals, too. Over the years here at SPC we’ve made so many meal-worthy salads and here are a few of our favourites.

The Cobb Salad is an American classic. And with good reason – it’s packed with delicious ingredients. I like it because kids can just pick out their favourite elements. I’ll be having them all!
A salad you make on the barbecue? Yes, please! I can’t get enough of this Grilled Shrimp Salad with its bright flavours and meaty shrimp.
This Kale Chicken Salad is my current fave. I love all the textures with the crunchy nuts and soft cheese (plus, I learned the trick to tenderizing kale!).
Salmon Dinner Salad is hearty enough even for those nights when you feel like a plate of greens might not cut it.
