Sweet Stuff: Egg Cups & S + P

Sweet Stuff: Egg Cups & S + P

It’s a battle for eggs around here this week. Esme wants to dye as many eggs as she can get her hands on and I get it. Nothing looks as pretty as a big bowl of pastel coloured eggs. Okay, hers are more acid-bright and sticker-covered than the sweetly pale eggs of my Martha Stewart fantasies but they have their own charm. And I know how fun it is for her to spend an hour decorating anything for a holiday. But it means I have to have my own stash of eggs to actually eat. I could eat eggs for every meal and just this week I busted out an old favourite – Shakshuka – for dinner. But I recently realized that I’m missing a key element to complete egg enjoyment: the egg cup. We have a very small kitchen so I have to really want or need something to find space for it in our already jammed space. But look at these little things? They’d hardly take up any space and I love the stripes. Oh, and once I have these, why not some egg shaped salt and pepper shakers? Think the Easter Bunny will bring them for me? Hey Bunny, the egg cups are only $8 for 4 and the salt and pepper shakers are $4 at PC Home.
