Meal Plan for December 7th

Meal Plan for December 7th

It’s our third week offering free meal plans and we hope you’re finding them as helpful as we are. After all, I’ve been using the plans too. So let’s chat about why I chose these dishes for me (and you!).

The Why

I need easy this week because my head is popping off with holiday prep. How is it really only a two more weeks until Christmas?

The Plan

I chose a selection of meals including a chicken, a pasta, a sandwich (Thursday night is going to be a doozy so I need extra easy) a fish and a soup. And two are meatless.

The fish tacos use sweet potato as does the soup so I’m putting them back to back so I can do that prep only one time.

I’m putting the tacos on the night I have the most time for dinner prep. For me that’s Monday.

The Back-Up

I’m going to double the soup recipe in case one of the other nights falls apart. If not, it goes in the freezer or my daughter will use it for a lunch.

    Hello lovelies,

Question, what if I don’t have a cast iron skillet? Can I make the chicken in a regular pan? We have a big square grill pan. Any way I need to amend the recipe? Your meal plans are awesome! xo

Sorry to just be getting back to you. Somehow we missed this note! Yes, you can use another pan as long as it’s oven safe. Again, sorry to not get back to you sooner!! xo
