Roundup: Valentine’s Day Goodies Make Great Gifts

Ceri and I were going to write a gooey thank you post to you, our dear readers, about how much we heart you and then we stopped. You already know we adore you. Instead we decided to bail your butts out because, if you’re anything like us, you desperately need ideas for Valentine’s Day. Actually, sorry, my terrible mistake. Ceri and I definitely don’t need ideas for our gifts to our husbands or even our families (lie). We started planning our heartfelt pressies for all of them weeks and weeks and weeks ago. Poor Ceri’s exhausted from pulling all those late-nights working on that thing she’s been doing. You know the thing. For Ben. She’s so adorable.

But if you’ve been too busy to get as organized as us, just remember nothing says I love you more than food. Nothing. And, not that you want to do one more thing in the kitchen, but, like we said, we love you and therefore picked really easy stuff. No, silly, we don’t suggest you boil them water. You’re cute. Although these recipes are a close second.

Valentines-Pancakes

Oat and Banana Pancakes with Chocolate Chips say I love you super much. Well, that’s what the chocolate says. The oats say take it easy on the syrup.

Double Chocolate Mousse will fit your Valentine’s chocolate craving.

Chocolate and Coconut Bread Pudding is a perfect dessert for a special dinner. And by special dinner I mean one that was made for you by someone else.

Chocolate Cupcakes are anything but basic and who needs a box of chocolates if you have these kicking around.

Graham Sweet Potato Cupcakes are perfect if chocolate is not your thing but dessert definitely is.
