Roundup: One Pot Wonders

One is definitely not the loneliest number when it comes to pots. The less I have to hand wash, the better.  I’m usually pretty angry at all the pots that stare at me from the sink. I’m also one of those people who can’t leave anything behind. I have to clean the pots before I, at the latest, go to bed. If I wake up and a pot is dirty, it’s going to be a bad morning. The notion of having less to clean is always satisfying but what about less to fuss with when it comes to cooking? One pot meals are a busy families way of telling dinner to suck it–You can’t get me down! I’ve have just the thing! Actually, SPC has 5 just the things for you today. Pick your favourite and breeze through dinner. And, of course, the clean up too.

Veggie Sloppy Joe is made in a pan not a pot but we won’t split hairs about something so easy. OK?

Curried Pumpkin Soup is a satisfying and yummy lunch in the Winter months. If you felt like cleaning two pots you could go the grill cheese route with it as well.

Veggie Chili is the ultimate in one pot meals. Besides, who doesn’t love something that you can actually be serve in a bowl made of bread. Genius.

Tomato and Cheddar Soup is like a getting a grilled cheese served in your soup. Or you could just stick a grilled cheese into soup. Not a bad idea.
