Roundup: Stuff We Love
If we’re talking about stuff we love then this could easily be an entire post about desserts. Even though we promote healthy eating for families we’re not saints. (Goodness, you should have seen the stuff we ate when we were editors at a fashion magazine!) In fact, I ate something today called a peanut butter dream. I’ve got to tell you, it was worth every calorie. So there you go. The SPC moms buckle to things called peanut butter dream or corn chips. (The corn chip thing is Ceri. She has a problem.) It’s another reason why we love these recipes as well–they’re a healthier version of something that could become a serious problem for us. (Like the corn chips.) These items are snacks, desserts and even breakfast. So I’m sure you’ll find something you can use and, hopefully, love.
Apple Upside Down Cornmeal Cakes are little bites of apple goodness.
Graham Sweet Potato Cupcakes are a satisfying treat that makes dessert feel not so taboo.
Almond Butter Banana Breakfast Cookie are better than pancakes. Ok, that’s a lie but they’re damn good.
Carrot and Zucchini Spice Muffins are tastier than you think especially if you put that glaze on them. It’s all about the glaze.
Granola Cookie is the best dunking cookie.
