Slow Cooker Easter Candy

Slow Cooker Easter Candy

I don’t ever really make candy. But when I saw a version of this recipe using a slow cooker to make chocolate cluster with nut, pretzels and dried fruit I couldn’t resist testing my own clusters to create cute white chocolate mounds for Easter. I’m not the biggest fan of white chocolate either but when you pair it with vanilla cookies, peanuts and chocolate candies it turns into a bomb of deliciousness. It’s also shocking how easy it is to put these together using your slow cooker.

I never imagined using my slow cooker for anything other than hearty meals but it worked like a champ. You can even switch up the cookies and candies you want to add. It’s a dump and scoop victory that will not only change your mind about white chocolate (for my fellow white chocolate skeptics) and making candy at home. I love them as a homemade treat for an Easter basket. But they’re a great sweet to use for entertaining, as a favour for a birthday party or just when you want to make a little special something.
